You accept my Terms by:

(a) continuing to use my services

(b) paying for my services; or

(c) written confirmation that you accept, including by email; or

(d) by confirming your agreement to this contract.

2. The services to be provided by the coach to the client are online coaching or tele-coaching, as designed jointly with the client. Coaching is not advice, therapy, or counseling, and may address specific personal projects, business successes, or general conditions in the client's life or profession.

Confidentiality

The coach promises the client that all information provided to the coach will be kept strictly confidential.

Coaching CommitmentOnce we begin the coaching series, I consider myself to be fully committed to you and your Sacred Soul evolution. I know that you, the client, will be committed to you and your journey also. The commitment includes you, the client, going through the entire coaching series from start to finish and honoring the financial commitment that accompanies that.

All packages are non-refundable once you have signed this agreement. From the time you commit to joining this sacred container and sign this agreement we are both fully devoted to go deep into the transformative journey and no part of your coaching package is refundable.

Coaching Relationship

Throughout the working relationship, the coach will engage in direct and personal conversations. The client can count on the coach to be honest and straightforward in asking questions and making requests. The client understands that the power of the coaching relationship can be granted only by the client, and the client agrees to do just that: have the coaching relationship be powerful. If the client believes the coaching is not working as desired, the client will communicate that belief and take action to return the power to the coaching relationship. You agree to show up in devotion to witnessing your survival and protection patterns and open to complete them from the body to allow them to be alchemised and transformed for the highest evolution of your soul.

Cancellations/Rescheduling

Your session time is reserved especially for you for which I prepare ahead of time so that I can hold the most potent space in the ways your body, heart and soul are needing. I deeply value our time together and I know that you will too by respecting and keeping your appointment.

If you do need to reschedule, I require a full 24 hours’ notice to be given. If 24 hours’ notice is not given, the full session fee is incurred. I understand that sometimes emergencies do arise and that you may need to reschedule/cancel your session at short notice, and I ask that you contact me as soon as possible with 48 hours’ notice where possible so that we can explore other windows that I keep available for these circumstances.

You, the client, agree that if you have not shown up for the scheduled sessions after 15 minutes of the session beginning, and there has been no communication received, the session is considered a no show and the session will be cancelled.

Session Timings

Each of your coaching sessions will go for 60 minutes.

If you, the client, are late for a session, please be aware that I will not be able to extend the session past the scheduled finishing time due to my commitments with other clients for that day. If you, the client, are going to be running more than 5 minutes late for a session, I ask that you email me to let me know with as much notice as possible.

IntegrationYou will gain the most momentum from this soul container if you commit to integrating the embodied practices we explore together between our sessions. You, the client, agree to be in devotion to embodying the practices and honoring space for integrating these between sessions. You take full responsibility for how much you show up in devotion to your soul evolution in this sacred Coaching container. You agree to take full responsibility for all outcomes and will not hold me responsible for achieving (in whole or part) any of your goals. You honor your own sacred self-responsibility for how your level of commitment in showing up in dedication and willingness to be self-accountable will determine and shape any outcomes you experience. Soultree Somatics does not warrant or make any representations concerning the precision, likely results, or outcomes you will experience.

Coaching Methods

You, the client, acknowledge that the coaching series may be personally challenging and give rise to heavier energies in the form of emotions such as frustration, resistance, annoyance, and protection patterns as they come up to be met in new ways so that they can complete and evolve for the highest good of your soul.

You will not hold me, the coach, liable for any loss or cost incurred by you in the event of mental, physical, emotional stress or distress caused directly or indirectly in relation to your coaching series. You will indemnify me in the event of any such claim.

Intellectual Property

You agree that you, the client, have no right to use, share or reproduce any of the processes, techniques, presentations, or methodologies used by me, the coach, in your coaching series, outside our coaching series. You must not at any time reproduce materials given to you except for your own personal use.

Guarantee

As required under California Law, I guarantee that the Services I will supply to you are rendered with due care and skill; fit for the purpose that I advertise. I cannot guarantee you will take the necessary actions identified in this program or achieve a specific result. What you achieve through this program is your choice and your responsibility.

Governing Law

These Legal Terms and your use of the Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California applicable to agreements made and to be entirely performed within the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Refund Policy

I do not provide refunds in instances where: you change your mind, decided you did not make the purchase or had no use for it. If you have any dissatisfaction with the service being offered, it is your responsibility to communicate that to me so your needs can be addressed. If you cancel any service for any reason whatsoever, you shall not be entitled to a refund.

Feedback and Dispute Resolution

Your feedback is valued, and I seek to resolve your concerns quickly and effectively. If you have any feedback or questions, please contact me via email at [email protected]

If there is a dispute between us, we agree to the following dispute resolution procedure:

1. The complainant (you) must tell the respondent (me) in writing, the nature of the dispute, what outcome the complainant wants and what action the complainant thinks will settle the dispute. We agree to meet in good faith to seek to resolve the dispute by agreement between us.

2. If we cannot agree how to resolve the dispute, any party may refer the matter to a mediator. The mediator will decide the time and place for meditation. We must attend the meditation recommended by the mediator, in good faith, to seek to resolve through meditation or other alternative dispute resolution processes.

3. Any attempts made by the parties to resolve a dispute pursuant to this clause shall be without prejudice to any other rights or entitlements of the parties under these Terms, by law or in equity.

Acknowledgement and Disclaimer

You, the client, understand that you have hired me, Lauren May, for Soul-Centered Psychology Coaching at the agreed Fee. You, the client, acknowledge that I, the coach, am not a psychologist, psychiatrist or otherwise medically trained. I am not medically qualified to assess your physical or mental condition. If you are in any doubt, please seek expert medical advice before using my Services.

Coaching is not a substitute for medical treatment or therapy, counseling or psychotherapy services and does not deal with the diagnosis or therapeutic treatment of psychological challenges. You take full responsibility to seek expert medical/mental health advice as you need to. Since Soul-Centered Psychology Coaching does not constitute medical consultation or treatment, health insurance coverage will generally not apply.

Liability

You, the client, agree that our liability for these Services is governed solely by the CA Law and these terms. Nothing in these Terms removes your statutory rights as a consumer under CA law. To the extent that I am able to at law, I, the coach, exclude all express or implied representations, conditions, guarantees, warranties or terms relating to these Services or this agreement except those set out in this agreement.

Limitation of LiabilityUnder no circumstances shall company or any of its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, or otherwise be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or any other damages arising out of your use of this service, including but not limited to negligence. Additionally, Soultree Somatics is not liable for damages in connection with (I) any failure of performance, error, omission, denial of service, attack, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or line or system failure, (II) loss of revenue, anticipated profits, business, savings, goodwill or data, and (III) third part theft of, destruction of, unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of your information or property, regardless of our negligence, gross negligence, failure of an essential purpose and whether such liability arises in negligence, contract, tort, or any other theory of legal liability, the foregoing applies even if company has been advised of the possibility of or could have foreseen the damages. In those states that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for the damages, our liability is limited to the fullest possible extent permitted by law. In no event shall company's cumulative liability to you exceed $100.

Indemnification

You shall indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, actions or demands, liabilities and settlements, as well as third party claims and causes of action, including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees, resulting from your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or any use by you of the Service. You shall bear the sole financial burden in connection with any such defense, including, without limitation, providing us with such information, documentation, and reasonable access to you, as we deem necessary. You shall not settle any third-party claim or waive any defense without our prior written consent.

MiscellaneousShould any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, the other provisions shall not be affected and shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms and Conditions bind and inure to the benefit of the parties’ successors and assigns. These Terms and Conditions are not assignable; any transfer, assignment, or delegation by you is invalid. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to its relationship and supersede all prior oral or written agreements, understandings, and representations to the extent that they relate in any way to the subject matter hereof. No waiver of any of the provisions shall bind either party unless set forth in a writing specifying such waiver, consent or amendment signed by both parties.

Declaration

I_________________________, understand that, upon signing this contract on _________________, that I am working with Soultree Somatics for Soul-Centered Psychology Coaching at the agreed fee and agree to these terms set out in this document as a legal contract which I will honor with integrity. I, the client, take full responsibility for how I show up both in my sessions and as a co-creative space outside of them and I understand that my transformation is solely my responsibility. I, the client, understand that for Soul-Centered Psychology Coaching is distinctly different from counseling, psychotherapy, psychology, or psychoanalysis and does not deal with the diagnosis or therapeutic treatment of medical or psychological challenges. Since professional coaching does not constitute medical consultation or treatment, health insurance does not apply. These fees may be considered deductible business expenses and should be discussed with your appropriate accountant or financial adviser. I accept these terms and agree to pay all related invoices as they fall due.
